who have worked together since 1997

Javier Cota | Civil Engineer


Javier has worked extensively in the construction industry since 1984.


His abilities and talents are wide-ranged, working from roads to fine custom homes. Prior to joining the company as partner in 1997, Javier managed a concrete lab in La Paz, B.C.S.

Javier holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de La Paz an a Masters Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua in Road Engineering.


Javier was born in Buena Vista, Baja California Sur. After years of working and living in La Paz, he chose to return to his roots, make his life here and raise his family here.


Javier is creating a sustainable ranch, on property that has been owned by his family for decades, Rancho el Aventadero. 


Fall of 2022 marks the start of a new chapter in Javier's life as he moves towards retirement from the construction business and will have the opportunity to spend more time on the family Rancho el Aventadero.

Tehroma Lask | Architect & Artist

Construction Industry experience since 1994

Designing and building since 2003

After training for 6 years with a licensed architect, she began designing custom homes, remodels, interiors and exteriors in 2003. Tehroma has worked extensively in the construction industry since 1994 wearing many different hats in the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Architecture from Atlantic International University.

Practitioner since 2007


Tehroma was born in Oregon and migrated to Baja in 1994. She has a deep heart-connection to Los Barriles and the East Cape area, and has chosen to make her life here and raise her family in this special place.

Fall of 2022 marks the start of a new chapter in Tehroma's life as she moves towards retirement from designing and building. This new chapter will include teaching Yoga & Meditation while growing her practice in the healing arts at Plaza Buenos Aires with Thai Massage and Reiki.
